Recently the situation in Hungary draws the close attention, after all the political parties which have come to the power actually carried out audit of policy of the previous governments. Moreover, they don't accept also many obligations which the country has before the European structures. The new majority already changes provisions of the constitution that causes big discontent of Brussels.

The professor of faculty of public policy of the Central European University, the deputy of the Hungarian parliament and the representative of OSCE on freedom of mass media in the recent past, Miklos Haraszti so estimated the created situation:

- Protests are very typical for Hungary at the moment. Now there is a bad constitution – crude, unsuccessfully written. It was very easy to change the constitution of Hungary: if you have two thirds of voices, you can change everything at once …

This government created the own one-party constitution. Naturally, there are protests in the country. But it isn't enough of them – from my point of view they have to be more. If we remember the protests against the previous government, it was the big wave. And in 2006 even there were violence manifestations. Then protests were cruelly suppressed …

The present government has the legitimate right to be in power – support in parliament makes more than two thirds of voices. They have the political leaders also: talented, but populist. Unfortunately, such leaders are supported somewhere by 51% of the population. The people usually always support the populists, therefore they while in power in Hungary.

The scale of control which extends the new Hungarian government, reaches already the universities. The present power appointed the economic problems inspector who checks the universities. And actually they reached that elect the rectors. Universities are exposed to various pressure to subordinate them to the influence. Now universities come back to an orbit of influence of the government again.
