Toktogul Kakchekeev: IGIL is interested in both Kyrgyzstan and all Central Asia!

The director of the independent analytical centre «Religion, Law and Policy» in Bishkek Kadyr Malikov declared that the management of «Islamic State of Iraq and Levant» made the decision to allocate about 70 million dollars for «destabilization of a situation in the south of Kyrgyzstan as the region is a door to Fergana Valley and Uzbekistan too». Malikov considers that in the ranks of IGIL the group of natives of Central Asia is created whom, according to unconfirmed information, the management of IGIL is going to sponsor". There is a danger that in the territory of our countries there are people ready to participate in the Syrian conflict. Radicalization in Kyrgyzstan gains steam. It is difficult to stop the departure of our citizens to Iraq and Syria" …

- About what K. Malikov spoke on a conference press, has double interest. For IGIL it is their desire to carry out the policy in the region, for us — caution about negative processes which are generated by IGIL.

They want to exclude any pressure or criminal prosecution against the Islamic religious sects preaching radicalism. 70 million US dollars for promotion of anti-governmental actions of the religious and radical movement are not enough, but they will accrue more and more in process of successful promotion of this project.

It is necessary to take into account that the present parliament unlike the previous convocations is the adherent of Islamization of civil service. It gave the example, having built the chapel rooms in the building of parliament both for men and women! And it occurs at the secular state proclaimed in the constitution. The highest statesmen participate in mass prayers on a central square of the capital.

There is also other point of view: participation of more than 500 people from the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan in divisions of IGIL in Syria has the far-reaching purpose. Having received the corresponding military preparation, they have to be IGIL policy conductors in Kyrgyzstan and then extend it further to all Central Asia.

Such opportunity is available owing to that in the country the figures from religious community grew and found a certain influence on society. Therefore in the country the state decisions on religion are also made which defined a place and role of it in society. Various options of actions in case of invasion of IGIL or their helpers into the country are studied. The regulations are adopted urged to reduce the threat of religious extremism.
