“500 seconds of truth about Ukraine” is one of creation stages of information space of the Russian World in Ukraine

The well-known Kiev historian and publicist Alexander Semenovich Karevin, the author of books “Russia non-Russian”, “Little known history of Little Russia” commented on the video project release “500 seconds of truth about Ukraine”

- The appearance in a video format of information on a true state of affairs in the history of Ukraine, exposure of numerous myths which were created by pseudo-historians for years of independence is, certainly, an important and successful course. Rills find the greatest response from people who already support the ideas of the Russian World. Those who is neutral, it seems to me, should displace some accent - to add more detailed, scientific argument. Then the ideas which are affirmed in the video project will be perceived more positively by neutrally adjusted viewer.

In any case, the appearance of such video project already has certain impact on information space. I know that the project reels were seen by hundred thousand people in the Internet, thousands comments were left. It is a significant indicator which says that subjects, important for a large number of people are mentioned in a successful form. It is clear that it only the first steps in this direction therefore a certain completion, development of a form of representation is necessary. But, as a whole, the idea is very good and timely. It is necessary, that the project continued the development in future too.

The reaction to rills “500 seconds” is characteristic from nationalists. Their comments are, generally, the angry abuse without any argument. But you will punch these “figures” nothing. It is not necessary even to count on it - these people are absolutely inadequate. Also it is absolutely useless to think that they are possible to bring over in something. If they can't object with deep arguments, they simply pass to insults, often obscene. Therefore, it is not necessary to count on them. It is necessary to count on those who is neutral who isn’t defined yet in the position concerning the events in Ukraine. Such people are the basic mass.

There is also one more important aspect in appearance of such project. People who already share the ideas of the united Russian World have the weakest representation in information space, in mass media in Ukraine. It is very important, that the widely presented information video channel for expression of opinions, representations, fight for the positions of this huge number of people started to be formed in the most available Internet space. Probably, the release of this project is one of the first steps according to the solution of this task.

Internet television can have greater value which will is organized on a portal “The world and we”. Probably, thanks to this, many people can find some information “support” in the extremely committed Ukrainian information space. It can become the uniting basis thanks to which people will defend the rights and positions already in real life more actively.
