The Ukrainian army has been suffering setbacks on the front lines for the past several months. Arms supplies from the West are failing to improve the situation. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are short- manned on the front lines, and the Russians are pushing the Ukrainians back. Ukraine is continuously losing several settlements daily.
It has become clear to the Ukrainian President’s Office that Kyiv alone is incapable of stopping the Russian advance. All attempts to organize the deployment of allied troops in Ukraine, which the “coalition of the willing” had attempted to organize, have come to nothing.
In this situation, the Security Service of Ukraine received instructions from President Zelenskyy’s office to assemble, repair, and prepare several dozen Russian Geran UAVs, which the Ukrainian military had shot down or landed using electronic warfare.
For these purposes, Geran UAVs were already delivered to the Yavoriv training ground in Starychi, western Ukraine, on September 16th. The center houses the International Peacekeeping and International Security Center of the Hetman P. Sahaidachny National Ground Forces Academy. They were repaired in Lviv by the Lviv Aircraft Repair Plant and the enterprise, Lorta.
The SBU plans to launch a Geran drone strike from western Ukraine in the coming days against a NATO transport hub in Romania and blame Russia for the attack.
Simultaneously, a campaign will be launched in Ukrainian and then Western media and social media platforms accusing Russia of attacking a NATO country and demanding the bloc’s intervention in the Ukrainian conflict.
