Iran is against the foreign intervention in Syria!

The Days of the Iranian culture will be spent in the Russian regions. The exhibition “Iran in the art mirror” has already arrived to us which represents more than 200 exhibits telling about the ancient traditions of arts and crafts of Iran.
Besides, the memorandums of cooperation in the field of culture and art between the Cultural representation at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation and the regions of the Russian Federation will signed.

The signing of memorandums assumes the further development of cooperation in the field of culture and art for strengthening of the Russian-Iranian relations. The parties will encourage, in particular, the exchanges of creative collectives and separate executors for participation in festivals of arts, development of connections in the field of cinematography, to promote direct cooperation between museums, libraries, art collectives, educational and scientific institutions of culture and art.

The adviser of embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation and the head of the Cultural representation at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia Ebrahimi Torkaman Abouzar, known for many people under the book “Riddle of old Persia”, has answered the questions of our portal:


- For the sake of God merciful! It is a great honor for me to be among the highly cultured people. I have arrived with mission to present the culture of the native land.

The heart language is expressed by means of culture and art. As our great compatriot Rumi has said, the most important thing is that we would be close by hearts! And today the masters of Iran have brought the love - that is hidden in their hearts. Their creativity will bring the positive energy to you!

There are masters in our country who, using the art language, want to transfer the secret thoughts, the vision of the world to other people. And the signing of the memorandum of cultural cooperation shows that our countries have serious intentions to develop the relations.

- How do you estimate the relations between Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran today?

- The agreement on interaction in the field of culture has been signed between our governments. And we carry out various actions since then, developing our relations. There were two official visits of the Minister of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia and there was also a reciprocal visit of the Minister of Culture of Russia to Iran. This year the Days of culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia will pass in September and next year the Days of culture of Russia will pass in Iran.

All it testifies that our two countries intend seriously to increase the cooperation, to strengthen and to develop it in every possible way. Certainly, now, when we have general vision on political problems, common positions with the Russian Federation, there is a necessity for the further development of our relations in the field of culture.

- How do the Iranian people think about that the USA name Iran as the new “empire of evil”?

- Unfortunately, America not only takes into account, but has simply trampled all universal principles. They want the absolute freedom for themselves, but don't want the same freedom for other people! The Iranian people have much given in struggle for the freedom and independence – certainly, America doesn’t like our independence. It doesn't love it!

Many countries have any minimum elements of democracy but because they are very good friends of America, so there is no criticism from America about them! But they criticize us that we, ostensibly, have no democracy. And Russia was criticized recently too.

- What is the position of Iran in relation to events in Syria?

- The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the people of Syria and the government of Syria. Really, there are many general approaches concerning our countries to that has occurs in Syria.

All that now occurs in Syria is a domestic concern of this country and its people. They will solve all questions by themselves. There is no necessity of foreign intervention – I mean the West countries.
