At toilets and other premises of the European parliament in Brussels there are cocaine traces to what the results of investigation which was made by one of leading German TV channels "Sat-1" testify, reports RBC.

The German reporters took 46 samples in the European Parliament building, and then subjected them to laboratory researches. Traces of cocaine were revealed in 41 tests. Professor Fritz Zorgel from the Nuremberg institute of biomedical and pharmaceutical researches declared that the amount of the found drug is too great to consider it as accident.

“It simply testifies that the cocaine was brought there”, considers the scientist. The expert added that the general cleaning is regularly carried out in all premises of European Parliament and it means that cocaine, most likely, took recently.

The official representative of the European parliament Marjorie Van der Brocke declared that conditions of carrying out investigation under which the reporters independently took samples and sent them to laboratory, don't allow to judge authenticity of results. The European Parliament can raise a question of legality of such investigation as it was carried out without any prior notice.

Meanwhile, it is reported that journalists found cocaine traces in toilets of parliament of Great Britain also, including those zones where parliamentarians are allowed only. As writes “Rosbalt” with the reference to the Sun newspaper, by means of the special testers revealing traces of cocaine, the journalists checked sitting of toilet bowls, holders of toilet paper and a hand-drier.

During the check drug traces were revealed in nine toilets, including three ladies'. According to the edition, drugs were used in those zones where any visitor of the historical building even if isn't the parliamentarian can come.

The edition doesn't report, how the employees of the newspaper managed to get into the closed zones of parliament, however it is noted that journalists went to investigate toilets “under cover” after received aiming from a source in the House of Commons.

All toiletss are regularly cleaned, and it gave to journalists the grounds to assume that unidentified persons indulged in vicious occupation only some hours prior to secret check.
