Armies of the Southern front by the morning of September 1 finished the elimination of the surrounded parts of the Taganrog group of Germans. As a result of attack of our armies and liquidation of the Taganrog group of the opponent 17, 111, 294 infantry and 15 air field German divisions were crushed. The severe defeat is inflicted over 304, 306, 336 infantry and 13 tank divisions of the opponent.
In fights it is DESTROYED by our armies: planes of the opponent — 212, tanks — 537, tools of all caliber — 494, machine guns — 1.500, cars — 3.600, warehouses with fuel — 10, warehouses with ammunition — 29.
The opponent lost over 35.000 only killed soldiers and officers.
According to incomplete data, our armies TOOK the following trophies: tanks — 95, tools of different caliber — 198, mortars — 217, machine guns — 409, cars — 594, warehouses with ammunition — 22.
5.100 German soldiers and officers were taken prison.
Continuing the attack, the armies of the Southern front within September 1 moved ahead from 6 to 10 kilometres, occupied over 30 settlements, occupied Krasny Luch city, Snezhnoe city, and also SHTEROVKA station in Donets Basin.
On the SMOLENSK direction our armies continued to develop the attack successfully and, having moved ahead from 7 to 12 kilometres, occupied over 200 settlements, including DOROGOBUZH city.
Our armies coming to the south of BRYANSK, promoted on separate sites from 6 to 10 kilometres, occupied over 60 settlements, including KOMARICHI city.
In the area to the West and South -West of KHARKOV our armies conducted offensive battles and on separate sites again moved ahead, having occupied some settlements.
Within August 31 our troops on all fronts lined and destroyed 66 German tanks. 90 planes of the opponent were shot down in the air fights and fire of antiaircraft artillery.

Troops of the Southern front by the morning of September 1 finished the elimination of the surrounded parts in regions of ILOVAYSK. 12 settlements are freed, a column of supply of Subsidiary Power Installation is crushed, the commander of 1 company of retaliatory battalion is liquidated. The retaliatory battalion «Aydar» suffered a checkmate and is completely crushed.
The settlements Novoamvrosiyevskoe, Blagodatnoe, Semenovskoye, Artemovka, Mnogopolye, Metallist, Tretyaki, Kobzari, Zelenoe, Shirokoe, Pavlogradskoe and Grabskoe are freed.
Near CHUGUEV the Reconnaissance and Sabotage Group (RSG) of a militia crushed a column of supply of Subsidiary Power Installation. During heavy fighting in Amvrosiyevk the commander of 1 company of retaliatory battalion of chasteners «Azov» R. Dobrodomov is liquidated. About 10:45 there was an attack of Enakiyev city by artillery of chasteners, there are damaged buildings.
For night the army of chasteners lost 100 people only the killed.
The general losses of chasteners in equipment made 1 plane, 2 helicopters, 2 tanks, to 6 RSZO, 2 armoured troop-carriers, to 14 tools and mortars, to 24 units of automotive vehicles, 2 warehouses with ammunition. Losses in manpower — up to 100 of killed and wounded people.
Near MARIUPOL 2 boats of boundary protection were sunk.
The airports in DONETSK and LUGANSK are surrounded, the heavy artillery and mortars conduct their attack.
In the ZAPOROZHYE, DNEPROPETROVSK AND KHARKOV areas the Reconnaissance and Sabotage Groups work which are carrying out investigation of the district and establishing places of basing and strengthened positions of troops of invaders.
In troops of the opponent mass desertion and delivery in captivity is observed.
