New scandal with the Russian language in Kiev: the one-party members of Tabachnik don't react...
On August 7, the political club “Alternative” together with the Kiev branch of Institute of the CIS countries carry out in conference hall of the institute the round table devoted to studying of a course of realization of an initiative of the Minister of Education Dmitry Tabachnik on opening of the Russian schools on the left side of Kiev (where there is no such). It starts at 11.00.
Dmitry Tabachnik expressed previously the readiness to listen to all offers – how further to act in order to force the Kiev power to listen to a voice (and namelt to groan of inhabitants of the Russian city). The participation of other high officials from the Ministry of Education, People's Deputies, the representatives of political parties is planned also.
Let's remind that the Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Dmitry Tabachnik addressed to the chairman of Kiev City State AdministrationAlexander Popov with the offer to open one more Russian school. Dmitry Vladimirovich told in his letter to the town governor that in Kiev only 7 schools from 510 are with the Russian training. Thus, even if officially the Russian inhabitants of Kiev are 14 %, so the Russian schools are 1,4 %.
As only one Russian-speaking average educational institution is on the left side of the city, namely the Engineering gymnasium (with advanced study of natural sciences and mathematics), so Dmitry Tabachnik offers to make the school, which is under construction in Gmyri St., 6 (Osokorki) as the Russian one, but with a humanitarian orientation.
So the Minister didn't receive the answer from Alexander Pavlovich and there is less than a month prior to the beginning of the academic year. The construction of new school is almost complete. It means that for institution opening “with advanced study of the Russian language and also history and culture of all Slavic people” (as Tabachnik offers), it would be not required to close the Ukrainian school. However, as well as “Auditor” thinks, Popov is afraid of the reaction of both one-party German, so the conditionally oppositional members of Tyagnibok.
Besides, Popov should go on mayor elections in the city where the Russophobic moods are appreciable. However, 440 thousand Russians live here more. Is it really necessary to struggle for their voices?
