“Shuster lie”, how Ukraine entered EU and how Jose Manuel Barroso cajoled Victor Yanukovych's hopes

At first there is a joke which spreads around Ukraine now.

Ukraine entered EU, mister Jose Manuel Barroso bought estate in Poltavshchina. Somehow in the summer he went to a garden, the nightingales sing, there are apples, cherries, pears. Mister Barroso bears a huge large bottle of moonshine, fat, onions, garlic, sits down to a table, looks around, it is so beauty...

Pours a drinking glass to himself and only was going to drink, as heard a voice because of a fence:

- Listen, neighbour, what are you doing here?

He looks, so this is his neighbour, sir Vitek Yanukovych...

- Don’t you see, I’m drinking vodka, Barroso answers and he drinks the first glass, has a snack with onion and fat. And right here pours the second one, brings to a mouth...

- Neighbour, asks Vitek, so what are you doing here?

- Don’t you see, I’m drinking vodka, Barroso also imperturbably answers and drank the second glass, had a snack with onion and fat. And right pours a third glass, brings to a mouth...

- Neighbour, so I wish too, swallowing a saliva, Yanukovych speaks.

- So come, Barroso says...

- So you have an angry dog, Yanukovych sadly says...

- So I know, Barroso answers maliciously and drank the third glass.


Tonight on March 2 in the air of Inter + TV channel there passed the Shuster live program with the talk-show “Justice”. The question “Where to go to Ukraine – to EU or the Customs Union” became the most important question on it? Certainly, carrying out the order of the European integrators, Shuster (who pays the money that orders him!) made everything that the audience supported the accession to EU.

However before it the prime minister of Ukraine Nikolay Azarov long told about the great prospects of the development of the Ukrainian economy. It appeared that the prime minister is anxious only with to obtain the next credit from EU in the sum of 610 million dollars.

One of conditions of its receiving is the gas price increase for the population.

As Ukraine is in debts, there is no other exit, according to Azarov, for implementation of this requirement differently as to persuade Russia to reduce the gas price. And the president Yanukovych in performance at the press conference which have taken place before it also accused Russia of a robbery of the Ukrainian population with such high prices of natural gas. However, as always he didn't tell the surnames of those Ukrainian oligarchs who profits on the Russian gas.

And Nikolay Yanovich together with Victor Fedorovich probably sacredly believed in that Russia will pay “European integration” of Ukraine at own expense.

There is very interesting behaviour of the Ukrainian establishment: in Ukraine the anti-Russian hysteria prospers regardless of the one who heads it and what parties are presented in the Verkhovna Rada. And the Ukrainian nationalists get the increasing influence in public life and now are presented in the Ukrainian parliament.

If Ukraine thinks that Russia forgot what are the horrors of fascism they are deeply mistaken. Another is interesting: why Ukraine forgot that already once visited Europe: during World War II, when Italy, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and, certainly, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia “integrated it in the European way” under the flags of Nazi Germany. What indescribable tortures it turned back for the people of Ukraine?

The introduction even in association with EU is a final transformation of Ukraine into a colony and a human and raw appendage of Europe. Visible “naivety” of the Ukrainian European integrators strikes: Europe is in deep crisis and continues to fall in it. It is a complete nonsense, worthy any mental hospital to hope that they will start removing Ukraine to great economic powers.

The hopes that Russia will make light of such European integration is also the nonsense, if there is such scenario, it is possible to put a cross safely on those Ukrainian-Russian economic relations which else remained.

There are no such types of industrial and foodstuff which Russia couldn't make without the Ukrainian participation … The Russian, Belarusian and Kazakhstan industrialists won't miss chances to expel Ukraine from the market of the Customs Union and to take its place.

One more: Nikolay Azarov very surely stated strong confidence that Russia during Victor Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin's negotiations will reduce the gas price all the same on March 4. It is interesting, from where there is such not diplomatic impudence? Or the Russian president personally is obliged by something to Nikolay Yanovich? Or Russia is already a colony of Ukraine and it can be dictated the conditions?

Let's return, however, to Shuster live studio. As the audience there sat the people with the exhausted faces, simply and even poorly dressed who, according to authors of program represented the people of Ukraine. Apparently, the problems of trips to Europe interested them the same as problems of rabbits’ fertility in Australia.

Meanwhile the supporters of so-called European integration prevailed in studio among the speakers. Among them there were no such known Ukrainian public figures as Rostislav Ishchenko, Oles Buzina or Vladimir Kornilov and others who could defend the advantages of the Customs Union convincingly.

The party of the Customs Union was represented only by the leader of KPU Peter Simonenko and known political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky who wasn't given the word. Such figure sounded from the leader of communists: 60 percent of the Ukrainian export of the Russian Federation are made by mechanical engineering production. The choice towards association with EU will deprive of the Ukrainian machine builders of this huge market and will throw them into the ranks of the unemployed … The first call already sounded---Russia refused to get An-70 planes.

So, the ratio supporting the Customs Union and association with EU was 1 to 10. And the supporters of the agreement with EU acted much more in time. As a rule, in studio the coordination was made and in the beginning for “a titmouse in hands”, that is 55 percent voted for the introduction in the Customs Union and 45 percent voted for “a crane in the sky”, that is association with EU. And after “discussion”, the figure allegedly changed: respectively – 33 and 67 percent …

Savik, how much is it necessary not to respect the people of Ukraine to represent it such stupid and having ability to change the opinion within only 20 minutes?

Savik, it is dishonestly, unethically and badly to behave on the relation first of all to the people of Ukraine if you consider yourselves as the honest and independent journalist.

Savik, how do you think, really someone believed in similar “independence” and “objectivity” of vote?

Savik, to fall to the promotion level of Goebbels is not in the European way.

It would be better the name your program as Shuster Lie, so, at least, it will be honest and before your conscience and before the people of Ukraine.
