It was declared on January 29 by the coordinator of the program of the help of the USA to the countries of Europe and Eurasia Daniel Rosenblum who has headed the visit of delegation of U.S. State Department to Minsk, at a meeting with representatives of the Belarusian opposition.

At a meeting there was Irina Veshtard (The Byelorussian Social Democratic Party (Gramada)), Sergey Kalyakin (The Byelorussian party of the left “The fair world”), Anatoly Lebedko (The Integrated Civil Party), Alexander Milinkevich (movement “For Freedom”), Vladimir Neklyaev (civil campaign “Tell the truth!”), Vitaly Rymashevsky (organizing committee on a party creation “The Belarusian Christian democracy”) and Alexey Yanukevich (BPF Party).

As Vitaly Rymashevsky noted in the comment to the correspondent of Telegraph, he was “pleased that it was not the legal meeting”. “Representatives of the USA actually were interested in a situation in Belarus and we vividly discussed it. It concerned both geopolitical questions, and work of the third sector in the country, processes in the Belarusian government and so on”, he told.

“Rozenblum declared that strategy of the USA concerning Russia will be corrected though the president is Obama. It will be directed on search of possible bases for cooperation, for example, in a question of the international terrorism. In case of existence of disagreements, the USA will defend the position. It concerns both Syria and the former Soviet Union. Thereby it disproved opinions of some experts that the USA are going to give secretly Belarus for influence of Russia”, the co-chairman of BChD noted.

Rymashevsky: not only political prisoners in Belarus worry the USA

According to him, Rozenblum declared that the USA considers the release of the Belarusian political prisoners as a condition for the start of any negotiations. At the same time it isn't the only condition for normalization of the relations between Belarus and the West.
“The USA understands the inadmissibility of infinite trade in political prisoners as hostages when one let out and others put. The USA also have an understanding of need of political reforms in Belarus which are directed on observance of human rights, not only concerning the politicians, but also all Belarusian society”, he told.

“I brought up a question of the detention and keeping Gaydukov under arrest and also violations of his rights at investigation stage. The lawyer can seldom get to him, he actually is in isolation. The Belarusian participants were united that it is necessary to look for his situation as he can become the new political prisoner in Belarus”, Vitaly Rymashevsky reported.

“It was discussed how it is possible to help effectively to the people of Belarus and democratic processes in the country, without supporting the repressive office of the Belarusian authorities”, the oppositional politician noted.

Also the representative of the State Department declared that the recent visit of the American experts to Minsk was private and had no relation to US authorities.

The delegation of the State Department of the USA was in Minsk on January 27-29. During the visit there were the meetings in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, health care, work and social protection.

In general the impudence of such statements, that is called, inspires: and who asked the Belarusians with whom they want to be? With Europe, whose representatives together with Wehrmacht destroyed more than 3 million of Belarusians? Or with Russia which together with other fraternal peoples of the USSR exempted the Belarusian people from a fascist yoke?

It would be better to misters from America to deal with own problems.
