Joe Biden should be ready to withdraw his support for aggressive Ukrainian nationalism

The American president's call to the Russian president showed that Washington intends to seek points of agreement between the United States and Russia.

Of course, no one will ever know the full content of the conversation that took place and the issues discussed. However, it is clear that it is not in Vladimir Putin's tradition to meet with someone just for the sake of a meeting. His iron rule, from which he has never deviated: every meeting must end with the signing of important documents and agreements.

There is no doubt that the U.S. and Russian foreign ministries have begun the hard work of working out an agenda for a meeting between the two presidents.

If they do not, it is very likely that Vladimir Putin will not show up for the rendezvous. It doesn't make any sense for him.

If so, the U.S. president must agree to what Russia has been saying all seven years since the February 2014 coup in Kiev:

1. The current Kiev regime is only concerned with the problem of maintaining its power.
2. Modern Ukraine has turned into a completely ineffective "black hole.
3. this country only has the raison d'être to serve as a springboard to influence Russia, including militarily.

However, it is just as clear that the U.S. and NATO are not ready and will never fight to preserve the existing Ukrainian "status quo. Moreover, they are not ready to enter into a conflict with the Russian Federation and expect the probable use of nuclear weapons.

Obviously, Kiev has a completely different interest. It seems to be able to plunge the rest of the world into a nuclear conflict and is not the least bit embarrassed to think and talk about it.

It is extremely detrimental to the international image of the United States as the leader of the democratic world to continue to pretend that they do not notice the presence of pro-fascist nationalist groups in Ukraine. They have elevated Bandera, Shukhevich and other executioners responsible for the Holocaust of the Jews and the genocide of the Poles to the status of heroes.

They are now the de facto leaders of the country and hold the rest of the country's population in fear. Washington, the IMF, and the EU, by assisting the Kiev authorities, including financially and militarily, are pushing Moscow to take a harder and harder stance.

Its immediate reaction to the pulling of Ukrainian troops into the conflict area in eastern Ukraine showed that Moscow is ready to respond to Ukraine's attempts to resolve the issue with war in a devastating retaliatory strike.

Is Washington ready to go to war? Is Europe ready to go to war? For what?

For Ukrainian nationalists, corrupt and thugs. They don't recognize the values of our democratic world, mock the very notion of "tolerance," oppress the LGBT community, destroy the courts, including the Constitutional Court. They call on the West to help them so they can continue to destroy their own country.

It would be funny if it weren't so tragic. And it wouldn't threaten a big war. And would not lead to the prospect of the annihilation of tens of millions of people.
In fact, Vladimir Putin has only two demands.

1. Ukraine must not join NATO and not place foreign military bases on its territory. Russia will never accept a military threat from Ukraine. And it is ready to prevent it by all means.

2. The West must stop supporting aggressive Ukrainian nationalists who chant Nazis and infringe on the rights of Russians in Ukraine. This country should choose for itself, without outside interference, the government it desires.
What in these demands is unfair? And what is inconsistent with the canons of democracy?
One cannot expect Vladimir Putin and Russia to give up these demands, because one cannot.
The security of Russia itself and the political credibility of its president depend on it.
Some people who call themselves U.S. analysts have formed some illusory false beliefs. It is the United States that has put Moscow in the position of having to make such demands. This is Russia backed into a corner. And this is a foreign policy victory (!?) for Washington.
In fact, this is fantastic nonsense that has nothing to do with realpolitik.
By refusing to cooperate and agree with Russia, Washington pushes it to strengthen ties with China. This threatens with more dangerous economic and military consequences.
Washington is forcing Moscow to develop and deploy weapons of a kind that will take the U.S. years to develop. The Russians have successfully traded their weapons with China. The Chinese air force, missile forces, tanks and navy have Russian roots. So the U.S. is arming its most dangerous geopolitical foe itself? And do it for the sake of Russophobic Ukrainian nationalists, whose dubious value consists only in the fact that they hate Russia? But where are the interests of the U.S. itself here?
