Not to allow impostors of every kind to forge the history!

IX conference of the organizations of the Russian Compatriots of the Republic of Tajikistan took place in Dushanbe. Its delegates and participants adopted the special statement in connection with attempts of World War I. I. results revision and the continuous attempts to forge the history, to make the fascists and their helpers the heroes:
- We are indignantly compelled to note that in some countries, at silent approval and possibly with assistance of geopolitical opponents of Russia, the desecration of monuments to the Soviet soldiers who died in World War I. I. grow.
So, despite the people of all countries of Europe, including Germany, pay a tribute to the memory and respect to the Soviet soldiers and officers who laid down the lives for release of these countries from Nazi aggressors, the radical elements supported by some political and public figures of these countries declared real war to monuments. According to data of Anti-fascist council the following objects were subjected to violation or destruction lately:
− about 420 memorial objects in Ukraine (among egregious examples there is the monument to soldiers of the Soviet army ornamented by a swastika and poured by paint in the city of Chervonograd, desecration of «Menorah» memorial in Babi Yar in Kiev established in memory of the Jews who were lost in the years of Nazi occupation, destruction of a memorial tablet to the Hero of the Soviet Union military pilot Fedor Dudnik in Sumy, destruction of a monument to thirty two soldiers liberators in the city of Glinyany of the Zolochevsk region of the Lvov area, damage of a monument to the lost seamen and the ships of the Black Sea marine steam in Odessa city, demolition of the Soviet War Memorial in Stry city of the Lvov area of Ukraine, numerous desecration of the memorial devoted to memory of the victims of the Holocaust in the city of Novomoskovsk of the Dnepropetrovsk area, destruction of a monument to the soldiers who were lost during the Great Patriotic War in Sukhoi city of Odessa region, destruction of a memorial tablet to the Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Vasilevsky in Kharkov etc.);
− 12 memorial objects in Lithuania (the most scandalous case was in the territory of the Akmene region of Lithuania where all monuments to the soldiers who were lost during the Great Patriotic War were painted with yellow and blue paint);
− 9 memorial objects in Poland (acts of vandalism differed in special barbarity: the memorable plate of the Soviet War Memorial in the city of Aleksandrow Lodzki is broken, the monument to the Polish and Soviet paratroopers in Lyubasha is spoiled —the heads were torn off at statues of soldiers, the hooligans broke 11 tombstones on a military cemetery in the city of Zgierz);
− 8 memorial objects in Estonia (the Soviet War Memorial in the centre of Tallinn known as «Bronze soldier» which was repeatedly spilled the paint on is exposed to the most frequent attacks of vandals, it was painted in colours of Estonian flag. Also the monuments in other cities of Estonia — Haapsalu, Valga, Pärnu, Tartu, Kaarma, in the settlement of Tuudi and on the island of Saaremaa were exposed to attacks too);
− 7 memorial objects in Bulgaria (the most known is vandalism on burial of the Soviet War Memorial in the Sofia Lozenets Quarter and in the centre of Sofia: the monument to the Soviet army was recoloured in colours of the Ukrainian flag);
− 6 memorial objects in Latvia (among egregious examples of desecration is the Soviet War Memorial, «Monument to Alyosha», poured by paint, near the Latvian city Saldus, desecration of a monument to Liberators of Latvia from fascists in Riga on which the vandals wrote an inscription «Russians go away!» in the Latvian language and also drew a swastika with the red paint).
The special resonance was caused by vandalism and partial destruction of the monument twice to the Hero of the Soviet Union general Ivan Chernyakhovsky established in Pieniezno (Poland) on a place of his death and desecration of the Soviet War Memorial on Schwarzenbergplatz Square in Vienna (Austria).
Special concern in the progressive public is caused by speeches of some politicians who call for dismantle and demolition of all Soviet War Memorials such as in the centre of Sofia or a world famous monument «To Soviet soldier Alyosha».
The speech of some politicians such as the mayor of Kishinev (the vice-chairman of Liberal Party) Doreen Kirtoake already became a parable who suggested to dismantle the memorials to the Soviet soldiers in Moldova for effective integration into E. U. Or «humane innovations» of the Vilnius architect Audrius Ambrasas who offered to conclude the monuments to the Soviet soldiers who were lost in Lithuania during World War I. I. in metalwork, in a form reminding the cages. In his opinion, the obstacle will «preserve» modern residents of Lithuania against «shameful past».
But the art exhibition «My Poland. Remembering and forgetting» in Tartu (Estonia) became the most scandalous act of vandalism, violations of all norms of human morals and treachery of everyone who died in World War I. I., «sickening mockery» over memory of millions of Auschwitz prisoners burned and destroyed in gas chambers as one of the world’s largest Jewish organizations — Simon Wisenthal Center called this act. The Polish artists decided to joke of one of the most tragic pages in the history of World War I. I. A Holocaust for the Polish artists (namely their works are exposed in Tartu Museum of Art) is only a subject for humorous comics.
So, on video from the artist Artur Zhmiyevsky (by the way, it is forbidden even in Germany) — there is a gas chamber in Auschwitz Concentration Camp in which absolutely naked people joyfully play tag before execution. In other episode the former prisoner of Auschwitz is persuaded to update the tattoo with serial number 80064 made in the extermination camp. The Polish artists are sure: sometimes it is possible to laugh over the Holocaust. And similar doesn’t surprise, alas, after the statement of the Ukrainian prime minister Yatsenyuk about the Soviet invasion to Ukraine and to Germany and words of the head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Grzegorz Schetyna about liberation of Auschwitz by «Ukrainians», but not fighters of Red Army.
Alas, it should be noted that the attempt to forge history and to make the fascists and their helpers heroes occur even more often with every day of 70-th anniversary of Victory approach in the Great Patriotic War, despite the resolution on fight against Nazism adopted by the UN condemning desecration of monuments to fighters against fascism and also the Convention on protection of architectural heritage of Europe signed by the majority of the European countries.
The multinational Soviet people paid most high price for release from a fascist infection and Nazi aggressors of the people of Europe: for each plot of land, each freed village, city, the big or small settlement the tens and even hundreds of thousands lives of the Soviet soldiers and officers are given: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Tajiks, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, the Turkmen, Armenians, Azerbaijanians, the Georgians, Tatars, the Ossetian … it is possible to continue the list of nationalities.
In this regard we address to people worldwide, no matter the political addictions, religion, nationality, sex, race and age and we urge not to allow revision of results of World War I. I., not to allow the impostors of every kind to forge the history, to make the fascists and their helpers heroes and with the help of joint efforts to stop attempts of memory blacking and a reputation of heroes liberators from Nazi aggressors and to keep an unfading feat and a merit of the Soviet people in defeat of fascism in memory of grateful descendants of people of the world.
